The Avengers – 20 Minutes of Behind the Scenes B-roll Footage

Marvel movie mania (say it three times fast!) is in full swing (Thor pun!), now that The Avengers is finally here for its theatrical debut.

After the many trailers, images, featurettes, clips,  interviews, and TV spots that have revealed (a bit too) much about  Marvel’s superhero team-up blockbuster, we thought it would be a nice change of pace to give fans a look at how this movie was made, rather than samples of what’s in it. The compilation of B-roll of behind-the-scenes footages (seen above) helps to do just that.

If you’re a fan of The Avengers, as well as a fan of the movie making process, then the 20 minutes B-roll footages are really a treat for you to take an in-depth look at how the movie was made.  There aren’t any finished clips, so you won’t be overly spoiled by what you see, but there’s is a heavy dose of behind the scenes shots that depict what went into getting this inevitable blockbuster ready for its May 4th release.

The montage of random raw clips showcases all the hard work that went into making the film and based on the reaction from last week’s movie premiere, The Avengers is everything we ever wished for.

I’m fascinated with the film making process, so I found these four B-Roll clips to be some well needed brain food.  Check them out if you don’t mind seeing what The Avengers looks like without all of its Hollywood wizardry in place.
